3rd Edition of Immersphere – Immersive Media and Fulldome International Festival
Do you have a product, idea, research, or ongoing project in the field of immersion? Do you want to share your work with a community of experts, researchers, and professionals in the immersive media industry? We invite you to participate in the immer 2024 Lightning Talks!
immer – Immersive Media and Fulldome International Festival is reaching its 3rd edition as a platform for innovation in art and technology, celebrating the intersection between new media and immersive experiences at the Luiz Crulz Planetarium in Brasília, from December 5th to 8th, 2024. The program will include various activities that explore the creative potential of immersive digital arts, such as film screenings, workshops, panels, and the novelty of 2024: the Lightning Talks session.
Lightning Talks is a short and fast presentation format very popular at international events. It’s generally done at festivals and conferences to generate debates, connections, and new networks.
The immer 2024 Lightning Talks will be a collaborative event where you can present your experience, share your creative process, and discuss new ideas with other professionals in the field. This activity, new in our program, will take place at the Luiz Crulz Planetarium in Brasília, on Sunday, December 8th, from 2:30 PM to 4:00 PM (UTC−03:00), and will be hybrid, allowing both in-person and online participation.
We are interested in proposals from individuals and organizations that are developing research in immersion and/or fulldome, have innovative products, want to share their creative process or present a project they have already completed. Our goal is to create a welcoming environment for dialogue, exchange of ideas, and the formation of a network of connections, driving innovation in immersive media. Those selected will have a total time of 5 minutes to present to the audience.
How to Participate:
Proposals should not be purely commercial promotions but rather offer content that contributes to the debate, reflection, and evolution of the industry in the field of immersive media. We will select 10 proposals to be presented, with a time of up to 5 minutes each.
